For those who are tuning in for the first time, this is our Pathfinder campaign that allows us to keep to our roots, and really experience the differences between 5E and Pathfinder. We take it a whole lot less seriously as far as production quality, and I try to encourage everyone to let loose a little. These publish less frequently as compared to our 5E campaign, sorry for the wait. Play the episode for a quick recap.

Though it isn’t always what we planned or imagined the podcast is trucking along. I prefer to think it is organically growing. Fact is this is another episode of a couple goons, and a joker, getting together to play the best game on the planet…no matter what edition. Hope you like it, and hope you chime in with your two cents. Otherwise we are just going to make decisions for you, and that makes us uncomfortable.
The Technical
We are trying to use a consistent opening across all the episodes, so we went back to our original opening from last week. Hopefully everyone is happy with the editing: I believe I have it at a good point compared to where we came from and in relation to a couple other podcasts I listen to.

Hey Guys, it’s Reid and I’ll be writing the post today! (That guy that plays characters with obtuse names)
We’ve decided to alternate back and forth between Pumpkin Spice and Lightlessness as there seems to be interest in continuing our Pathfinder campaign. The long awaited part three of the Pumpkin Spice Campaign is now available. I’m sure you were all wondering what happened next to our hapless adventures who just entered a nest of thieves. Well I hope you were. This is the last beta(played in pathfinder) before our final product, but stay tuned on the blog for some character Bios for our DnD 5E adventure. I’m not sure if we will have the content ready by next sunday to publish the first episode, but if not I’ll be sure to bring you guys something, maybe a world overview or something akin to that.

So yes, more or less these betas are just fillers (unless you’re enjoying them). We haven’t gotten together yet to record the 1st season and obviously want to have a lot of content before we start producing season one to ensure a steady, weekly release schedule. I bring this up at the end of the episode, but I tried and I tried to get rid of the kettle chip crunching during many parts of the episode. Of course I was hungry and we had already recorded like six hours of content so I was getting lazy about keeping the recordings professional. If you really hold out until the end of the episode you’ll get another treat: which may be highly unwanted if you’ve been driving for a long time and will be stuck in the car for a while longer. It’s time for another beta. Why not just start the show you might ask? Well, it’s because we recorded all of these betas using similar techniques and have found that our recording and editing techniques require a lot of fine-tuning. This episode we tried keeping it in stereo instead of mono without changing most of the editing from the previous Beta. Honestly, the less editing the better for us so hopefully when our first season kicks off at the end of December/early January we will have this all figured out.
The bad news is that the one change to editing is how I handled dice rolls, so get ready for them to be a bit louder. I also tried to increase the audio a bit in general for those who have been having problems hearing in our last two episodes; on headphones when editing everything sounds louder than it does after being exported and played in my car.
